The reality of the pandemic shook the corporate world when predefined business and people strategies took a 360-degree turn. Leaders became change champions overnight, and leading with resilience amidst ambiguity became the tenet. Loss of lives pushed the human race and leaders in particular to hit the pause button, become reflective, empathetic and trusting. A new mindset for a new reality led us to focus on holistic well-being.
In this contextual session, we will explore how the brain functions in uncertainty and its impact on ways of working. We will delve into the application of neuroscience in leadership while connecting the dots to consciously promote holistic well-being (physical, cognitive, digital and emotional), which is here to stay. We will segue into metacognition to understand the adoption of different frames of references to promote leadership learning with an emphasis on the need for a deeper level of connection with oneself and others at the workplace. We will nuance the cultural lens required for leaders to work with a global and remote workforce.
