In the realm of leadership, the term “unicorn” has gained immense popularity, used to describe individuals who possess a unique set of skills, talents and qualities that set them apart. However, my approach challenges the conventional notion of unicorn leadership and proposes an alternative perspective — that of legendary leadership. Drawing on personal experiences and years of managing people and strategies, this session explores the journey from being labeled a unicorn to embracing the concept of legendary leadership. It delves into the reflection point that led to a transformative realization about the essence of true leadership, emphasizing coaching, guidance, mentoring and a growth mindset.
