Meena Kumar is an HR practitioner with a conscious purpose to add value to every organization by understanding the context she is working in and contributing to business outcomes. Her expertise is in the areas of executive leadership development, L&D, talent and organizational effectiveness, career architecture and culture. She has extensively used neuroscience, systems thinking and transactional analysis to connect the dots while driving change, adoption and shifting mindsets needed for organizational transformation. Working with industry thought leaders during her professional career has shaped and redefined Meena’s thinking prowess and curiosity for deep understanding.
Meena has been part of and provided thought leadership to Northern Trust Corporation (a Fortune 500 organization), Sutherland, Mahindras, Cummins and Mindtree in various internal consulting capacities. Her nuances of understanding people, processes, structure and organizational dynamics has helped her lead with a balance of intellect and self-awareness. Defining and deploying leadership strategy is her forte. Meena believes in continuous, interdisciplinary learning to build expertise. She likes to bring a positive frame of mind to the workplace. She has faith in the goodness of humankind and continuously champions trust to build lasting human relationships in this digital, virtual world.
Meena is a pioneer in the corporate mentoring space in India and was a board member of the International Mentoring Association. She was a speaker at the CEB-Gartner Centre for Leadership’s 25th annual Leadership Summit in June 2019. She has been a panelist and speaker at forums such as NHRD, ISTD, eWIT and IMA ans was on the selection panel in the Grace Hopper Mentoring Circles committee (2019). Meena was recognized by Femina, Collabera, ISTD, World HRD, International Women Leadership Federation and eWIT for her leadership. She has a master’s in science and is an alumnus of XLRI.
