Brandon Carson is the vice president of learning and leadership at Walmart, and is responsible for talent development strategies in support of the overall business plan. Prior to joining Walmart, Brandon led the learning and development team for Delta Air Lines’ global airport operations. Previously he held global learning leadership roles with Home Depot, Microsoft and Apple.
In 2020, he founded L&D Cares (www.ldcares.org), a nonprofit dedicated to providing coaching, mentoring and support to help talent professionals thrive and flourish in their career.
Brandon has authored two books, “Learning in the Age of Immediacy” and “L&D’s Playbook for the Digital Age,” both published by ATD Press. As a speaker, Brandon talks about digital transformation, innovation, employee experience and how the digital age impacts workplace performance. He holds an M.Ed. in Educational Technology, a BA in Business and certification in advanced analysis.
