Ave Rio is the managing editor for BetterWork Media Group, where she leads the online content production for the Talent Management brand. She has previously worked as communications manager at a non-profit organization helping high school students find their passion and served as editor–in-chief at Illinois State University’s student newspaper, The Vidette, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Rio is also a registered yoga teacher and guides students through physical and mindful journeys that extend beyond the mat. She and her husband reside in Portland, OR where they enjoy weekend hikes on the coast and in the mountains.
