Samantha Zarini is the user experience design researcher for the GE Digital Global Functions organization. In this role, she oversees and leads user research and user experience design for the learning and development domain including but not limited to, employee experience, career navigation and the HR applications that live in this ecosystem (i.e., learning and development sites, apps, blogs and communities). She is based Norwalk, Connecticut, and travels to GE’s Leadership Learning Campus, Crotonville, on a biweekly basis to conduct research studies and observe learners on the campus. Zarini joined GE in 2012 working on the corporate compliance team. She is a current student of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and pursuing a master’s in information, design and strategy. She is also a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., with a bachelor’s in law and society. Zarini is fluent in Spanish and Arabic and is an active GE Volunteer.
